Koloza LLC has released Smart Kid ABC 1.0.2 for iPad. Smart Kid ABC includes a new Farm Animal Sticker Pack, better navigation options for your toddler, and the hilarious Laughing Dinosaurs. After mastering the Alphabet Game Mode, your toddler can move on to the My Name Game Mode. The latter setting introduces scrambled letters of your child's name on a fun background. Your toddler then needs to move the letters in the proper order to spell his or her name.

Set in an ancient, mythical kingdom, the game is an epic saga about a knight who returns home after a long journey to find his castle partly destroyed and his army scattered. The role-playing aspect of the game involves spells, quests, and journeys to help restore the lost symbols of Magic, Arrow, and Sword to the castle. Whenever combat is required, the game switches to turn-based, tactical mode.

I’ve gone over this many times. What matters when talking about market share in the mobile phone market? Share of all phones? Share of smartphones? Revenue? Profit? I love this idea from Horace Dediu, that creates an index using all four criteria.

Citi Analyst Claims HTC Pays Microsoft $5 Per
Android Phone

Jay Yarow:

Microsoft gets $5 for every HTC phone running Android, accordingto Citi analyst Walter Pritchard, who released a big report onMicrosoft this morning. Microsoft is getting that money thanks toa patent settlement with HTC over intellectual propertyinfringement.
Microsoft is suing other Android phone makers, and it’s lookingfor $7.50 to $12.50 per device, says Pritchard.

Horace Dediu took this, did the math based on how many Android phones HTC has sold, and figured out that Microsoft has made five times more money from Android than from Windows Phone 7.
