There?s a reason Craig Federighi, who is to take over Serlet?srole, handled demo duties for Apple?s Lion preview demo lastyear (see video below). And there?s a reason Serlet has beenselling off Apple shares recently. They?ve been preparing forthis day, which sources tell me is not at all the result of a spatover differences in strategic direction or the diminishment of OSX?s importance to Apple.
?There?s no acrimony there,? one source close to the companytold me. ?Bertrand?s just decided it?s his time to move on.Avie (Tevanian, former senior vice president of softwareengineering) handed off to him and now he?s handing off toCraig. It?s just a changing of the guard.?

Amazon informed us that if we disabled thisfeature, our access to the api, as well as our Amazon Associatesaccount, would be reinstated. We appreciate Amazon?s willingnessto modify the position stated in the original access revocationemail and work with us to get Lendle back on line.
