Socusoft Studio announced the updated version of Photo Slideshow Director for iPhone. It has been upgraded to version 2.2 and renamed as Slideshow+. The updated app added several pretty themes with frame and the fade out feature of background music. Slideshow+ is a photo slideshow app that lets you use iPhone to organize photos, Picasa albums, Facebook photos, Flickr photo sets, music and create eye-catching slideshow. Foozle iPhone Game Introduces Shape Change
Strategy - Debuts in Top 100

Indie developer and University of California computer science student William Thurston recruited long time gamer associates from California and Puerto Rico to design and develop an iPhone game featuring colorful shape changing characters that has intrigued players aged 4 and up. Available now on the Apple App Store, early sales results placed the game in the top 100 strategy games in Canada, and the top 200 puzzle and strategy games in the United States, Australia, and Canada.

Mixel: Social Collage App for the iPad

New (and free) iPad social collage app, led by Khoi Vinh and with a pitch-perfect intro video by Adam Lisagor. Here’s Vinh on some of his thinking behind it. I’ve been playing with it for a week or so, and it’s a lot of fun. I love Mike Davidson’s description, that Mixel’s like a casual version of Layer Tennis.

My biggest gripe: that you need a Facebook account (or, as in my case, to be a friend of the people behind it) to use it.
