On April 8th, the San Francisco Giants will conclude their rock star, 36 city World Series Championship Trophy tour when the trophy makes one final appearance at AT&T Park for Opening Day. Howard Stringer Says Sony Image Sensors Delayed
for Apples iPhone

Seth Weintraub, quoting Sony CEO Howard Stringer during an on-stage interview with Walt Mossberg:

“Our best sensor technology is built in one of the (tsunami) affected factories. Those go to Apple for their iPhones?or iPads. Isn?t that something? They buy our best sensors from us?”

Given that Sony’s plant that makes these sensors was damaged by the tsunami, perhaps this is a reason why there won’t be an iPhone 5 at WWDC.
