Quick Remounting of Network Drives

I have a WD NAS box and was wondering how to have it automatically appear on my desktop. At present, I access the drive through Network in the Finder. Once I click on Network the drive appears in the finder window. Once the drive is selected a dialog box (with a drop down menu) opens asking which partition to access. Once a partition is selected the corresponding icon appears on the desktop. I am hoping I there is a way to have this process automated.

P.S. Yeah I know, the drive sucks and No, I am not a lawyer.
