Mac OS X's Bastard sar Implementation

Background: I worked for Sun for 7 yearsCurrent problem: performance monitoring on a fleet of Macs.I've got sar going, through cron, but neither sar nor cron look much like the Solaris versions. Should I have used launchd to start sar, and if so, how? I need sar to run every 5 minutes during business hours.Any guidance on the interpretation of sar output on a Mac would be greatly appreciated. And if you can point me to a good run down on the meaning of the various kernel parameters I'm going to need to tune, that would help. Either I'm looking in the wrong places, or some of this stuff is very sparcely documented!rgds (and love your site)Melodie
